Travertine is one of the most used stones in urban and private construction due to its being relatively easy to process and its good wear resistance. However, when choosing this stone, among the features to be taken into account there are certainly the holes deriving from the karst nature of the material. Generally for internal use these are filled with the application of mastics or cement, although in recent years we are witnessing a return to internal unfilled claddings to emphasize the naturality of the stone.
